Imperium of Man - I like Salamanders, whose fluff is also a good read. I dislike the fact that game-wise they’re similar to the Ultramarines. I think because to me the mindset is completely different and in my head they would have different views on fighting other then the minor ones that the rules allow for. But then I’m still fairly new so I could be way wrong. Salamanders I have a dreadnought, two squads of terminators, and 4 squads of regs. All in all they’re fun to paint.

The Salamanders are fun, and I agree that they would act very differently, especially since they are a First Founding chapter. I think that Codex standard marines often just become Ultras in all but name. Thats part of what drew me to the Mortifactors, an Ultras successor that thinks completely different.
